We’re from LA. What a breath of fresh air to have authentic Mexican food were used to here so close. Their salsas and sauces are all homemade- their fish tacos are flounder, not cheap tilapia. We love Victors and eat there every week. Grandsons loves their bean burritos. Their beans are excellent too. Never a bad meal and for a good price. Better than the “sit downs.” Just be careful that you understand the flavors like “pastor,” “asada,” etc. these are not what often pass for Mexican food. These actually have real spices and flavors.

Really good Cali style Mexican! Excellent service, great prices, quick to cook, and we can't wait to come back! Feels good to finally have a "go-to" Mexican joint here in Middle Tennessee for quick meals that actually tastes great. If you were raised on the West Coast like myself, this place will steal your foodie heart and cover it in red sauce and REAL shredded cheese.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Victor’s Taco Shop is a hidden gem! I stopped by while waiting to visit a client and was impressed from the moment I walked in. The menu offers both breakfast and lunch options in the morning, which is a rare and convenient touch. I ordered the surf-and-turf burrito, and it was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and truly authentic. Even without salsa, it had just the right balance of seasoning and freshness. ( I freaking love salsa!!) I’ll definitely make this a regular stop whenever I’m in the area — once a month for sure!

Delicious food! This is the perfect spot for a plant based, taco loving foodie. The prices are great, the food has great portions, it’s very tasty. The service was excellent, very kind and helpful. I made a mistake with my order they fixed it without making me feel bad about my error. They have several vegan options tacos and tostadas. I will definitely stop by in my future travels to this area.

I discovered this place by accident when it was a take-home dinner option for a Zoom conference. Wow! It is on Hicks road off Hwy 70 in Bellevue next to Dunkin (donuts) and the Shell station. The food is excellent. We are having it again tonight. I highly recommend it.

I've been searching for authentic Mexican food with true, traditional flavors in the Nashville area, and I finally found it! I only tried the breakfast burrito, but it was incredibly hearty and packed with flavor. I'm already excited to go back and try everything else on the menu!

Stopped here for a breakfast sandwich and coffee, the sandwich was excellent and tasted like real food. But the sad part was it's a big place but there were only three people there. I passed several McDonald's on the way and I'm sure there plenty of people eating their ultra processed food.. if we don't patronize places that sell really good food then we will eventually lose them.

I was searching on Google maps for shrimp tacos and discovered this restaurant thanks to the folks who posted on Google reviews! In the search bar I typed shrimp and bonanza there were almost a dozen highly positive reviews about both their shrimp and fried fish tacos. Three fat, plump, juicy shrimp piled into a taco. Many thanks to the folks who where kind enough to post their reviews. They were not kidding! This place serves hot delicious food and at least the shrimp and fried fish tacos are cooked to order. It’s quick and delicious! They use warm soft corn tortillas which were excellent. They also have a mild green or a spicy red sauce that is equally delicious. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Thank you to the owner of the shop, helpful employees and fantastic chef for making this meal possible! I cannot wait to return to try all your tacos! The biggest surprise of all was their delicious fried fish taco was only $1.59! The fish taco is a bit of a gimmick because of the small amount of fried fish, which was excellent, that you receive. The taco’s are generous with their toppings considering the price! The chips were cold and salsa was thin and bland. Thanks again! On our second visit we tried the carne asada and the meat was similar to philly cheese steak quality meat so it was just average though it had guacamole on it which was nice but the shrimp and fish tacos were again awesome! I also noticed that the pico de gallo is made fresh and was also excellent. The tacos hit all the right spots delicious! It’s a great place to come if all you want is a light snack! Update We have become regulars here and we love it! We tried the crispy shredded beef tacos and they were the best I’ve ever had! They fry the shell when you order it (wow) were they good! The carnitas were great as well on a soft corn tortilla with pico and guacamole.
